Tord Boontje is a Dutch multidisciplinary designer active in the fields of product design, furniture and lighting.His style, inspired by nature, combines warmth, color and poetry in everyday objects.Among his most iconic works: Garland, Blossom, Fig, Transglass and Shadowy, now considered contemporary design classics. In 2009 he was appointed professor at the Royal College of Art in London, where he directed the Design Products program. His creations are part of the permanent collections of museums such as MoMA and the Victoria and Albert Museum. His studio is based in London, and in 2021 Rizzoli published his second monograph.
