Dante Donegani was born in the province of Trento in 1957 and in 1983 graduated in Architecture at the University of Florence. Giovanni Lauda was born in Naples in 1956 and, still in the city of Naples, graduated in Architecture. From 1988 to 1991 he was part of the Studio Morozzi & Partner and, the following year, opened with the Donegani studio the Milan architecture, interior and D & L design. Donegani and Lauda, ​​together, carry out commercial, artistic design and design products for international companies such as Edra, Gufram, Luceplan, Playpiù, Radice, Rotaliana, Viceversa. Their work moves to Japan in 2001 when, in Kobe and Yokoama, they take care of the section House of the exhibition Italy-Japan: Design as a lifestyle. Three years later, their project The Released House is part of the IX Venice Metamorphosis Architecture Biennale.
