The string H0 DTW (dim to warm) wall lamp applique is a modern style lamp with articulated arms with balanced movements, 'classic' type that is difficult to deal with for a designer. String is both technically and esthetically new. Its structure consist of a thin metal profile that embodies the simplicity and functionality of and old work tool: the yardstick that folds together and when extended becomes one single line. The arms of the lamp are made of extruded aluminium with double-T cross-section. The movement is compensated by the elasticized cable sheathed in synthetic fabric that runs inside the extruded aluminium arm's slot. The colored cable gives String a sophisticated and "domestic" air that makes it easy to be added to any home or office d cor. Being absolutely free to move, the lamp folds and rotates in any direction so as to direct the light. The adjustable head can be easily handled thanks to the central hole. With the switch inserted in the lamp head, you can change the brightness and color temperature of the LEDs. This means that the luminaire can be adapted to individual needs not only in the flexible position of the lamp, but also in the type of light. In fact, the String DTW is a new version of the String series and was created by the designers Donegani & Lauda in 2019. The source is always 9 Watt mid power LED and the light temperature can vary from 2500 Kelvin to 4000 Kelvin. It is dimmable and has a luminous flux ranging from 100 to 600 Lumen. The color of the structure is available in two basic opaque colors, white or black. It is possible to request it in four customizable colors, such as graphite, silver, bronze and champagne.
