Stilnovo Topo led floor lamp

Stilnovo Topo is an LED floor lamp designed by Joe Colombo in 1970, now recognised as an icon of Italian design. Its inspiration is openly automotive: the slits on the shade echo the air intakes of 1960s sports cars, here used to dissipate heat while preventing direct glare, and the profile of the lampshade faithfully follows the shape of the E27 bulb housed inside. The result is a silhouette reminiscent of a mouse, hence the ironic name. The adjustable cap in painted metal is available in glossy white, black, green, chrome and iconic red finishes, with a white-painted interior. The handle on top of the reflector is made of black heat-insulating material, allowing the light to be directed without burning one's fingers. The articulated arms and rod are made of metal, while the circular metal base features an external polyethylene finish.

The Topo lamp fits naturally into contemporary residential settings where functionality and design culture go hand in hand. It is an ideal choice for the living room or the bedroom, where its diffused, warm light accompanies reading or enhances a design corner. The articulated arms allow the lamp to be extended or retracted at will, adapting both the height and the direction of the light beam to the needs of the moment. The integrated 7 W LED source with E27 fitting is included in the packaging as a Classic A Retrofit LED, with a colour temperature of 3000 K for warm, enveloping light and a colour rendering index greater than 80. The emission is diffused, with a protection rating of IP20 for indoor use. The lamp is not dimmable and operates at a universal voltage between 100 and 240 V. The power cord measures 2500 mm in length and a switch is included. At maximum extension, the Topo reaches a height of 1730 mm, a width of 800 mm and a depth of 600 mm, with a base diameter of 290 mm; at minimum extension it measures 1300 mm in height, 480 mm in width and 800 mm in depth.
