Stilnovo Megafono 6x2 suspension lamp

Stilnovo Megafono 6x2 is an iconic suspension lamp born in 1958, one of the most recognisable expressions of Italian design from the 1950s. Composed of six double metal lampshades, each capable of producing a double direct and indirect light emission, the fixture features a body and suspension rods crafted in brass — a material that lends the piece a refined, timeless character. The lampshades can be oriented at 30° and 180°, offering complete freedom in directing the light, while the two emissions can be managed independently for a fully customisable lighting effect.

With its dramatic presence and warm, enveloping glow, the Stilnovo Megafono 6x2 effortlessly becomes the centrepiece of sophisticated interiors such as the living room, where it serves as a bold yet elegant focal point. The lamp is available in two finishes — Brass/Ivory and Brass/Black — both suited to classic and contemporary residential settings alike. The interchangeable rigid suspension rod system — with two lengths included (700 mm and 500 mm) — allows the installation height to be adapted to the ceiling without compromising the lamp's aesthetic integrity. The included canopy measures Ø100x40 mm; the lampshades have an upper diameter of 113 mm and a lower diameter of 136 mm, with a total height of 310 mm and an overall width of 799x710 mm. The 12 E14 LED light sources of 6W each — supplied as Miniglobo P45 LED bulbs — deliver a total luminous flux of 9,672 lm at a colour temperature of 2700 K (warm white), with a colour rendering index greater than 80 for accurate and natural colour reproduction. The lamp operates on a universal voltage of 100–240 V, carries an IP20 rating for indoor use, and belongs to Insulation Class I. Light emission is diffused and the lamp is not dimmable.
