Stilnovo Gravita led table lamp

Stilnovo Gravita is an iconic LED table lamp designed by Antonio Macchi Cassia in 1969 and reissued in a contemporary version with an integrated LED source. Its structure consists of two spheres: a large extra-clear transparent glass sphere with a diameter of 400 mm, which serves as the main light body, and a smaller sphere in chromed aluminium that orbits magnetically on its surface, like a satellite in gravitational balance. Far more than a lighting fixture, Gravita is a luminous sculpture that commands attention in any setting.

With a height of 517 mm and a width of 631 mm, Gravita suits a wide range of interiors: ideal on a desk or work table, it also finds its natural place in the living room, on shelves or statement furniture pieces where aesthetics and functionality are equally valued. The 24 W topLED source delivers a luminous flux of 2290 lm at a colour temperature of 3000 K (warm white) and a colour rendering index of CRI 90, ensuring accurate and faithful colour reproduction. The light emission is both direct and diffused: the glass sphere spreads a soft ambient glow, while the direct component provides focused, functional illumination. The two light sources feature separate dimmable switching via DALI and Push system, offering precise and versatile control over light intensity. The IP20 protection rating and insulation class I classification confirm its suitability for indoor use, with an input voltage of 220-240 V. More than fifty years after its creation, Gravita retains every bit of its power to surprise.
