Stilnovo Fante ceiling lamp

Stilnovo Fante is a ceiling lamp designed in 1978 by Jonathan De Pas, Donato d'Urbino and Paolo Lomazzi for Stilnovo, a historic name in Italian lighting design. Crafted in aluminium with a conical silicone base that is soft and pleasant to the touch, Fante reinterprets the aesthetics of the 1970s with refinement, bringing the elegance of an icon still cherished by architects and interior designers into contemporary spaces. Its defining element is the reflector resting on the head of the bulb which, resembling a wide-brimmed hat, evokes the silhouette of an elegant female figure and defines a perfectly proportioned design.

The freedom to tilt the reflector allows the light to be directed without any additional mechanism, simultaneously controlling illumination on the surface below and the indirect light diffusion downwards. Thanks to this intuitive system, Fante adapts versatilely to residential and professional settings: it is ideal for the living room, the bedroom or the office, where a touch of design heritage enriches every environment. The 11 W LED light source with E26/E27 socket is included and produces warm light at 2700 K with a colour rendering index of CRI80, for a welcoming and natural atmosphere. The lamp features an integrated switch and a 2000 mm power cord. With an upper diameter of 301 mm, a base diameter of 182 mm and a total height of 280 mm, Fante integrates harmoniously into both residential and contract interiors. The IP20 rating confirms its suitability for indoor use, while insulation class II ensures safe operation. The universal 100–240 V input makes it suitable for any domestic context. The lamp is not dimmable.
