Read more ...Designer Marc Sadler's inspiration for the Tulip collection is simple and poetic: a field of tulips moved by the wind, an image that encloses strength and delicacy at the same time. Surprise is the effect one has in front of Tulip, an explosion of flowers that seem to float in space; the tulips are in fact suspended from an almost invisible steel cable and are linked together by a thin copper wire which at the same time conducts low voltage electricity to each flower and creates an interesting decorative effect. The apparently casual arrangement of the various elements is instead carefully studied to offer comfortable lighting and an enchanting play of light. The technology is made even more precious by the manufacturing: the tulip corollas are in fact made of Lentiflex, a high quality hand-molded polymer while the stems are in brushed brass, inclined in a natural morphological way. The round ceiling rose is made of brushed brass.
The TULIP 14 FREE-STANDING version is enriched by fourteen flowers, each with a stem, which descend to a variable length through a Plug and Play system. The steel suspension cable is adjustable from a minimum of 20 cm to a maximum of 300 cm, while the copper conductor cable has a maximum length of 300 cm. The distance between one tulip and another on the copper wire is about 80 cm. The Free-Standing version is designed to configure the installation of each tulip as you like thanks to the decentralized suspension points.
The other versions of the Tulip collection are in the Product Family.
