Rotaliana Lightwire Luminator Dimmable led Floor Lamp

The Lightwire floor lamp is the dematerialization of the Luminator Bernocchi by Luciano Baldessari from 1929. Its structure is composed of thin lines that seem to have been made with computerized graphics, but in truth it is nothing more than a light and transparent sculpture, without solid surfaces which looks like a three-dimensional diagram. Its structure is made of electro-welded steel rod by points, which technical elements, independent of the structure, visually float inside. In the center of the lamp there is a transparent polycarbonate element, which contains the dimmer/sensory switch and a night LED. The cable tensioning disc, also molded in transparent polycarbonate, is interlocked in the base ring. In the upper part of the lamp, the metal reflector for indirect light emission and the molded glass in the diffused light version have been replaced by a LED board integrated into the structure: a further step towards the complete dematerialization of the Luminator.

Materials: Structure in electro-welded steel rod. Thick steel base. Central dimmer and cable tensioning disc in injection-molded transparent polycarbonate.
