Rotaliana Eolo RGB color light diffuser with remote control

Rotaliana Eolo is a RGB chromatic light diffuser with remote control, designed by Donegani & Lauda in 2009 for Rotaliana. Its white ABS body takes the form of a cuboid carved by fine strips that, as they bend, suggest the features of a face gently blowing air into the room. The fixture houses 2 RGB LED light sources totalling 6 W, capable of producing up to 1790 colour shades with a FADE function, and supports full brightness adjustment through its built-in dimmer. The universal power supply accepts an input voltage of 100–240 V.

Eolo is designed to transform and personalise any domestic space or office, acting simultaneously on the visual and olfactory perception of the environment. Alongside chromatic light, the device integrates a solid-tablet fragrance diffuser: a small internal fan disperses the chosen scent through simple ventilation, with no smoke or solvents. The included infrared remote control allows colour, light intensity and fragrance to be adjusted from a distance, while the rear-panel buttons offer direct control.
