Qeeboo Stilema 6 carpet

In 2006 Alessandro Mendini designed the Stilema 6 carpet, a work that is part of the “Alfabeti Visivi" series, a collection of projects characterized by the designer's exploration of the universe of signs and patterns. Stilema 6 is characterized by a continuous intersection of simple and complex signs that reflect Mendini's vision of a dynamic and infinite system. Each decorative element is repeated in an ever-changing way, creating a dance that unfolds on surfaces, objects, and furniture. Stilema 6 combines functionality and art with suspended signs. Stilema 6 comes in a rectangular version with size 200x300 cm. It is made entirely of polyamide (nylon) with non-slip polyester carpet pad. Made in Belgium.
