Penta Type A Recessed Canopy for Lit and Mom

Penta Type A Recessed Canopy for Lit and Mom is a technical accessory in metal by Penta, designed for recessed installation in plasterboard ceilings. Compatible with all versions of the Lit and Mom suspension lamps — Small, Medium and Large — this canopy allows for a clean and refined integration of the light point, concealing the cable and electrical connection within the ceiling. The required plasterboard cutout is Ø 50 mm with a thickness between 10 and 15 mm, while the canopy diameter is Ø 65 mm. A 2 m suspension cable is included; a 4 m version is available upon request.

Crafted in metal with a matt finish, the canopy carries an IP20 rating for indoor use and meets insulation class I requirements, operating at 220-240 V 50/60 Hz. The recessed mounting delivers a highly architectural result, ideal for showcasing the Lit and Mom pendants without visible hardware. A surface-mounted ceiling version is also available in three colour options, with On/Off switch or DALI dimming functionality, offering flexibility for both residential and contract lighting projects.
