Osram VIALOX NAV-E 70W (SON-E) E27 sodium vapor bulb

The Osram VIALOX NAV-E 70W (SON-E) is a high-pressure sodium vapor lamp with an E27 base, engineered to deliver high luminous efficacy and reliable long-term performance in professional and technical lighting applications. The opal glass bulb, measuring 71 mm in diameter and 156 mm in length, produces a characteristic warm light at a color temperature of 2000 K, typical of sodium discharge sources, suited to environments where efficiency takes priority over color rendering. Operating at 220-240 V with a power consumption of 70 W, it is compatible with both open and enclosed luminaires.

This lamp stands out for an average lifetime of up to 32,000 hours and a lamp survival factor of 95% after 16,000 hours of burning time, with an 80% luminous flux maintenance factor under the same conditions (according to DIN 13201). It delivers energy savings of up to 50% compared to mercury vapor lamps (HQL) and is dimmable on both conventional and electronic control gears. Compliant with EU Regulation 245/2009 (ErP), it offers a service lifetime of approximately 4 years at around 11 hours of use per day. Optimum energy efficiency is achieved when paired with POWERTRONIC PTo 3DIM ballasts.
