Osram VIALOX NAV-E 150W (SON-E) E40 sodium vapor bulb

The Osram VIALOX NAV-E 150W (SON-E) is a high-pressure sodium vapor lamp with an E40 lampholder, engineered by Osram to deliver very high luminous efficacy and outstanding operational longevity. Featuring an opal glass bulb measuring 91 mm in diameter and 226 mm in length, this sodium discharge light source produces a warm 2000 K colour temperature, characteristic of HPS technology and suited to professional applications demanding consistent, powerful illumination. Compatible with an input voltage of 220–240 V, it is designed for use in both open and enclosed luminaires.

Among the defining qualities of this 150W sodium vapor bulb, exceptional service life stands out: average lifetime reaches up to 32,000 hours, with a lamp survival factor of 95% after 16,000 hours of burning time. The lamp maintenance factor remains at or above 80% after 16,000 hours (according to DIN 13201), ensuring stable luminous output throughout its lifespan. When replacing mercury vapor lamps (HQL), energy savings of up to 50% can be achieved. The lamp is ErP compliant under EU Regulation 245/2009 and is dimmable on both conventional and electronic control gears, with optimum energy efficiency on POWERTRONIC PTo 3DIM ECGs. Estimated service lifetime is 4 years at approximately 11 hours of use per day.
