Osram POWERBALL HCI-E 250W / 830 E40 is a high-performance metal halide discharge lamp by Osram, engineered to deliver outstanding luminous efficacy and superior colour quality. The opal glass bulb — 91 mm in diameter and 226 mm in length — features a round ceramic arc tube, an Osram patent, which ensures consistent and uniform light distribution, enhanced colour stability and a higher red rendering index compared to conventional metal halide lamps.

Rated at 250 W with a luminous flux of 24,500 lumens and a colour temperature of 3000 K (warm white), this lamp is specifically designed for high-ceiling environments demanding powerful, high-quality illumination: atriums, museums, sports halls, railway stations and large industrial or commercial buildings. The E40 lampholder and 220-240 V input voltage ensure compatibility with standard HID lamp holders, including the same igniters used with Osram HQI models, making installation and replacement straightforward.
