When it comes to highperfor- mance discharge lamps, for outside as well as inside lighting applications with high ceilings, there have so far only been very few real alternatives, including, for instance, POWERSTAR HQI Daylight and POWERSTAR HQI N from OSRAM. However, these two lamps offer totally different strengths:

. POWERSTAR HQI Daylight: excellent colour rendering

. POWERSTAR HQI N: high initial luminous flux

Now OSRAM introduces three new innovative, high performance lamps with uncompromising power and elegance:

POWERBALL HCI-T, -E and -TS 250 W/WDL combine abundant light with optimum colour quality and a warm light appearance specifically designed for interior appli- cations with particularly high requirements: e.g. atriums, museums, sports halls or prestigious offices with high ceilings, as well as train stations and factory buildings.

Three stars to save costs

Fresh lighting power: POWERBALL HCI-T, -E and -TS are the high-end addition to the innovative OSRAM HID range. The new state-of-the- art lamps are largely compatible with the proven HQI models , thanks to identical dimensions and electrical data they can use the same igniters.
