Oluce Spider 3319 Adjustable Floor Lamp

Oluce Spider 3319 is the adjustable floor lamp designed by Joe Colombo in 1965, an icon of Italian industrial design and the founding piece of the "lamp family" concept. The Spider series was conceived as a creative response to a special horizontal spot bulb, featuring a single lighting body mounted on a melamine joint that allows the reflector to be freely oriented. The structure consists of a lacquered metal base, a chromium-plated stem and a lacquered aluminium reflector, available in black with a white interior. Light emission is direct, and the reflector is both swiveling and height-adjustable, enabling the beam to be tailored to any need.

Far more than a lighting fixture, the Spider 3319 is a landmark of design history, part of the permanent collections of the Triennale di Milano, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Kunstmuseum in Düsseldorf and the Neue Sammlung Museum in Munich. In 1967 it won the first Compasso d'Oro for Oluce, cementing its status as an absolute reference in vintage and retro design.
