Read more ...Designed by Joe Colombo in 1965, the Spider series is composed of a single lighting body, conceived as a response to a special horizontal spot bulb, mounted, thanks to a melamin joint, on different supports (table and floor), setting the concept itself of "Family" of lamps. In 1967 Spider won the first Compasso d'Oro for Oluce and, in 1972, it was in New work for the unforgettable exhibition "Italy: the New Domestic Landscape". It is also part of the permanent collections of the "Triennale di Milano", the "Philadelphia Museum of Art", the "Kunstmuseum" in Dà¼sseldorf and the "Neue Sammlung Museum" in Munich. The vintage Spider 291 table lamp provides direct light, with a swiveling and height-adjustable reflector. It requires a G9 bulb max 48 Watt (integrated), but it is still possible to use Led or Halogen bulbs. It is available in white or black.
