Oluce Sonora 438 Suspension Lamp in Murano Glass

Oluce Sonora 438 is a Murano glass suspension lamp, designed by Vico Magistretti for Oluce in 1976 and since established as one of the most iconic pieces in Italian design. Its pure geometric form, finished in etched opal white, embodies the designer's lifelong creative pursuit — a dedication to simplicity as an absolute guiding principle. With a diameter of 38 cm and a height of 19 cm, Sonora 438 combines balanced proportions and exceptional material quality in an enduring design object.

Thanks to its direct and diffused light emission, Sonora 438 creates a warm and even atmosphere, perfectly suited to the living room, the kitchen or the bedroom. The lamp is fitted with an E26-E27 lampholder, compatible with LED sources up to 100W, and comes complete with an LED bulb, an integrated transparent cable measuring 240 cm in length, and a white canopy measuring Ø15.9 × 4.2 cm. The IP20 protection rating and insulation class I ensure safe use in indoor environments. Compatibility with 100-240V input voltage makes it suitable for installations worldwide, including EU, USA, UK, Australia and Japan. The bulb can be replaced with any standard E27 LED available on the market, with no modifications required.
