Oluce Eva Spherical led Adjustable Table Lamp

Francesca Borelli designs a product for Oluce that is born and develops in the intimate contact between light, shape and movement. Eva is a metal table lamp that thinks about opposites (full/empty - light/dark) taking them from theory to practice, with the addition of a playful element of continuous surprise.

The body of the project is a boule inside which the LED source lives, open on one side and resting on a thin cylindrical base. The inside of the boule is hidden by a 'lid' that completes it almost perfectly, closing it like a sphere that is reassembled, except for a circle, a circular luminous opening that brings to mind the phenomenon of the eclipse. This circular lid, moving towards the inside or the outside of the boule through a small telescopic rod, lets more or less light pass, creating intimate and suffused atmospheres and letting you glimpse more or less clearly the precious gold leaf walls contained inside the lamp. Eva is available in black with gold interior, timeless colors that recall the moon and the astronomical phenomena that hide it.
