Oluce Colombo floor lamp

Oluce Colombo 626/L is a floor lamp designed by Joe Colombo in 1970, now reissued by Oluce in an updated dimmable LED version. Originally conceived to harness the potential of the halogen light source — one of the first domestic lamps to do so — the Colombo embodies the pursuit of formal clarity and technological functionalism that defined the great Milanese designer's vision. The structure is crafted in steel and aluminium: a circular steel base ensures stability, while the painted aluminium reflector is fully adjustable in orientation and height, allowing the light to be directed precisely where needed.

On the occasion of its 50th anniversary, the Colombo family was updated with a 24 W LED light source, a colour temperature of 2700 K warm white and a luminous flux of 4100 lm, with a colour rendering index greater than 80. The emission is both direct and indirect, thanks to the swivelling reflector that allows the light distribution to be modulated with great versatility. The lamp is dimmable, features an integrated on/off switch and a built-in black cable; the bulb is included. With a total height of 205 cm and a base diameter of 24 cm, the Colombo 626/L suits both the living room and the office, where its functional character and retro aesthetic coexist in perfect balance. It is available in glossy black with a chrome rod, bronze with a black rod, and scarlet red with a chrome rod, making it equally at home in contemporary or vintage-inspired interiors.
