Oluce Acrilica 281 table lamp is an icon of Italian design created by Joe Colombo in collaboration with his brother Gianni for Oluce in 1962. Crafted in methacrylate — an innovative material in the lighting field at the time — the lamp stands out for its curved, sculptural transparent body, whose significant thickness enables remarkably effective light conduction. The 4 W LED light source is housed in the base, and the light travels upward through the transparent body to illuminate the lamp head with an indirect and diffused emission, producing a fascinating and enveloping visual effect.
