Oluce Acrilica 281 Limited Edition Table Lamp in Marble

Oluce Acrilica 281 Limited Edition is a designer table lamp created by the legendary Joe Colombo, the only project he carried out together with his brother Gianni. Originally conceived in 1962 under the simple name "281", the lamp was later renamed Acrilica in tribute to its defining material: methacrylate, used in a truly extraordinary way for the time. The form evokes a wave of the sea, and the remarkable thickness of the transparent curve exploits the material's conduction properties to carry light from the hidden source inside the base all the way to the diffuser head, producing an indirect and diffused luminous emission of exceptional beauty. In this limited edition, the base is crafted from refined Portoro marble, while the body is made of Perspex (methacrylate), lending the piece an even more precious and collectible character.

Ideal for bringing a fragment of Italian design history into the living room or bedroom, the Acrilica 281 comes complete with a 3 W LED light source, delivering a colour temperature of 3000 K (warm white) and a colour rendering index above 90 for outstanding chromatic accuracy.
