Memphis Tanganyka vase

Memphis Tanganyka is a ceramic vase by Memphis Milano, designed by Marco Zanini in 1982. An object of great visual impact, it stands out for its sculptural structure that blends sinuous lines with bold geometries, drawing inspiration from the majestic African lake from which it takes its name. The hand-turned, hand-formed and hand-painted ceramic surface gives each piece a unique character, enhanced by a vibrant colour palette and a subtle brilliance that plays with light.

The base, composed of massive circular elements, soars upward suggesting stability and movement at once, supporting a central "corolla" reminiscent of a surreal flower with unexpected and bold shapes.
