Memphis Polar coffee table

Polar, designed by Michele De Lucchi for the Memphis movement, is a low table that expresses an interplay of shapes and colours in a perfect balance between functionality and art. The structure stands out for its lively geometric design: the yellow table top, formed by two overlapping circles, almost seems to float thanks to its combination with a two-tone black and white base.

To complete the ensemble, a blue lacquered cylindrical element acts as a central support, giving the table stability and adding a further chromatic accent to the design. The decorative laminate upholstery and lacquered surfaces enhance the bright and contemporary aesthetic, transforming Polar into a piece of furniture that plays with the concept of visual balance and practical functionality, typical of the ironic and innovative spirit of Memphis Design.
