Memphis Nara is a concrete coffee table designed by Shiro Kuramata for Memphis Milano, conceived in 1983 as a true manifesto of postmodern design. Its elementary structure merges Japanese aesthetics with a distinctly Western sensibility, dissolving any boundary between form, material, interior and exterior. The concrete surface features a texture reminiscent of traditional terrazzo, enriched by colored glass inserts that introduce touches of light and chromatic vitality to the composition. An iconic piece that has crossed the decades without losing any of its expressive power.
