Memphis Charleston floor lamp

Memphis Charleston is an iconic floor lamp designed by Martine Bedin for Memphis Milano, in production since 1984. Its remarkable sculptural qualities are expressed through a distinctive geometric form, enhanced by a characteristic light blue colour and the dynamic energy of its structure in painted aluminium. The diffuser, held by a long black tube, rotates through a full 360°, allowing the light to be directed like the hand of a clock — a simple yet expressive gesture. With a total height of 2700 mm and a diameter of 40 mm, Charleston commands any space as a bold statement piece.

Thanks to its striking presence and cult design status, the Charleston lamp is ideal for spaces with a strong aesthetic identity: it is perfectly suited to the living room and any residential interior that embraces the original Memphis spirit. The light source is a LED R7S 78 mm 9W with R7S lampholder, included in the package, producing a warm white light at 3000 K to create welcoming atmospheres. The luminous intensity is dimmable, offering full flexibility in light management. The universal voltage of 100-240 V ensures compatibility with electrical systems across different countries, while the IP20 protection rating confirms its suitability for indoor use.
