"The Cobra lamp is undoubtedly a timeless object. Even today it fascinates by the modernity of its shape and accompanies you throughout your life without ever dissolving its beauty. In some way the famous speech to humanity by Charlie Chaplin in the film " The great Dictator" has the same qualities in itself. The symbiosis between these two fragments of history enhances them, freezing them in their perpetuity".
To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Cobra lamp, Martinelli Luce decided to have his character interpreted by the designers who collaborate with Martinelli, through the creation of a graphic texture to be applied to the lamp body. A tribute from all of them to Elio Martinelli, who designed the lamp in 1968. 23 creations in a limited edition of 30 signed and numbered specimens.
