Of French nationality and one of the first graduates in esthètique industrielle at ENSAD in Paris with a thesis on plastic materials, Marc Sadler was a pioneering designer of experimentation with materials and contamination between technologies, which have become distinctive aspects of his activity. 4 times winner of the Compasso d'Oro, 1 Honorable Mention and 2 Selections of the ADI Associazione Design Industriale, his work has been awarded many other times internationally over the years. To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Cobra lamp, Martinelli Luce decided to have his character interpreted by the designers who collaborate with Martinelli, through the creation of a graphic texture to be applied to the lamp body. A tribute from all of them to Elio Martinelli, who designed the lamp in 1968. 23 creations in a limited edition of 30 signed and numbered specimens.
