Luisa Bocchietto is an architect and designer who graduated in Architecture in 1985 at the Milan Polytechnic (with Marco Zanuso) and at the same time graduated from the European Institute of Design in Milan. Since then she worked for both public and private clients, designing objects for companies in the furniture sector and collaborating as a tutor and visiting professor with universities and design schools (Lausanne, Turin, Venice, Milan). Past President of ADI - Association for Industrial Design. "In Cobra's 50th anniversary, my decoration proposal is meant to be a personal reflection on my work. Lux on Pantheon is a light that shines on my gods: architecture and design experienced through the mind, the senses, the heart. Architecture is harmony, sight is the most involved sense; it is really music for my eyes. Design is touch under the light, it is physical contact that warms my heart. A detail of the Pantheon flooring lights up on the plate, a point where light, physical matter and design meet to generate ageless beauty."
To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Cobra lamp, Martinelli Luce decided to have his character interpreted by the designers who collaborate with Martinelli, through the creation of a graphic texture to be applied to the lamp body. A tribute from all of them to Elio Martinelli, who designed the lamp in 1968. 23 creations in a limited edition of 30 signed and numbered specimens.
