Founded in 2002, Tom Dixon is a British luxury design brand now distributed in more than 90 countries and supported by over 100 professionals worldwide. With international offices in London, Milan, Hong Kong, New York, Tokyo, Shanghai, and Hangzhou, the brand has become a benchmark in lighting, furniture, and luxury accessories. Its distinctive aesthetic stems from a deep connection to British tradition, reinterpreted through experimental materials and cutting-edge production techniques, helping to build the company's global reputation. Founder and creative director Tom Dixon emerged in the 1980s with an unconventional production made from recycled materials. His talent has been recognized with major awards, including the Order of the British Empire, or OBE, in 2001, Designer of the Year at Maison & Objet in 2014, and the London Design Medal in 2019. In 2007, the Design Research Studio was established, the in-house creative agency that develops international projects for the brand. Since 2018, Tom Dixon's headquarters have been located at the Coal Office in King's Cross, London, a space that integrates offices, showrooms, a workshop, and a restaurant in the heart of Coal Drops Yard.
