Lumina DOT 600 Thermodynamic LED Dimmable Suspension Lamp

The DOT suspension lamp was born as an idea to create a 'disc of light', a minimalist suspension with a floating disc of light. It is made up of two parallel discs joined by a thin metal rod and its shape hides an inherent complexity that pushes the boundaries of existing technology. The smaller disc, made of aluminum, contains a LED circuit arranged in a ring that projects light upwards onto the larger disc that acts as a reflector. The light then bounces off the latter and illuminates a large area in a pleasantly indirect way, guaranteeing high visual comfort. A specially designed heat-pipe transfers the heat generated by the light source to the heat sink, placed inside the reflector, which leads to an innovative approach to the technology of optics and thermodynamics.

The powerful, indirect and bright lighting in a warm white color and a high visual comfort, make the DOT suspension lamp the perfect source of light above a dining table, a meeting room or in all those places that need a minimal touch but very technological.
