Lumina DOT 1100 Thermodynamic LED Dimmable Suspension Lamp

Lumina DOT 1100 is a dimmable LED suspension lamp by Lumina, conceived around the idea of a floating "disc of light." Its minimal architecture consists of two parallel discs joined by a thin metal rod: the smaller disc, crafted in aluminium, houses a ring-shaped LED circuit that projects light upwards onto the larger disc in matt white painted steel, which acts as a reflector. Light is then distributed in an indirect manner, ensuring broad, glare-free illumination and superior visual comfort. At the heart of the design lies a specially engineered heat-pipe that transfers the heat generated by the LED source to a heat sink housed within the reflector — an innovative thermodynamic approach that maximises efficiency and the longevity of the optical system.

With a power consumption of 52W and a luminous flux of up to 2020 lm, the DOT 1100 is the ideal choice above a dining table, in a conference room, or in any environment that calls for powerful yet refined lighting. It integrates seamlessly into a designer living room or a contemporary office. The integrated LED source is available in colour temperatures of 2700K (1950 lm) and 3000K (2020 lm), with a CRI83 colour rendering index and IP20 protection rating for indoor use. Dimming is managed via a DALI system, with universal voltage compatibility of 100–240 V (EU, AUS, USA, UK, JAP). The lamp is supplied complete with an integrated bulb, canopy (D. 75 x 60 mm) and a decentralisation kit, with height adjustable up to 3000 mm. The emitting disc measures 200 mm in diameter, the reflector disc 100 mm, with a low stem of 240 mm and a high stem of 215 mm. Available in Anodized Black and Anodized Brass finishes, the DOT 1100 unites formal minimalism and technical sophistication in a single striking object.
