Luceplan Koinè 55 is a suspension lamp of minimal and refined design, created by Mandalaki Studio for Luceplan. Koinè — a term evoking a shared language — stands out for the formal purity of its aluminium diffuser, measuring 550 mm in diameter, offered here in a bold red finish with a black canopy and cable. The body houses a 19 W integrated LED source paired with a specially engineered mineral lens, delivering a direct, homogeneous and well-defined beam of light at a colour temperature of 2700 K (warm white) and a CRI 90 colour rendering index, ensuring faithful and natural colour reproduction.

Thanks to its striking colour character and clean silhouette, Koinè 55 is an ideal statement piece for contemporary residential interiors. It works beautifully in the living room or suspended above a dining table in a design kitchen, where it becomes a true decorative focal point. The lamp operates on a universal voltage of 100–240 V, carries an IP20 rating for indoor use and belongs to Insulation Class III. Light intensity can be adjusted via trailing edge/leading edge (IGBT-TRIAC) phase-cut dimming, compatible with the most common control systems. The suspension cable reaches a maximum length of 5000 mm, providing generous flexibility for installation in rooms with high ceilings. Both the canopy and driver are included in the package for a complete, ready-to-install setup.
