Luceplan Hope D66/18 Dismountable Suspension Lamp

Luceplan Hope D66/18 is a dismountable suspension lamp designed by Francisco Gomez Paz and Paolo Rizzato, now a true icon of contemporary design for Luceplan. Its inspiration comes from the geometry of a diamond and its extraordinary play of light: the structure is crafted in polished steel and transparent polycarbonate, while the diffuser incorporates prismatic Fresnel lenses in specially ground polycarbonate, designed to multiply the reflections of the light source with a brilliant, crystal-clear effect.

The thin Fresnel lenses scatter and refract light with the same magic as prisms, creating an animated, sparkling and visually striking atmosphere. Thanks to its sophisticated design and transparent finish, Hope D66/18 brings elegance to a variety of interiors — it is especially powerful when suspended above a dining table or as a centrepiece in the living room. With a diameter of 720 mm and a total height of 540 mm, the lamp accepts a single E26-E27 light source up to 105 W, compatible with both LED and halogen bulbs, which are not included. The suspension cable is adjustable up to a maximum of 270 cm, allowing a tailored installation to suit any ceiling height. The lamp carries an IP20 protection rating, Class II insulation, and operates on voltages from 100–240 V, making it suitable for installations worldwide. As with all Hope variants, it is supplied disassembled to protect the delicate lenses, but assembly is straightforward thanks to the mounting accessories included.
