Luceplan Dix Bougies suspension lamp

Luceplan Dix Bougies is a suspension lamp designed by Odile Decq for Luceplan, a project that elevates lighting to the status of architectural sculpture. Its structure consists of a horizontally extruded aluminium frame with four asymmetrically intersecting elements, creating a composition of lines and geometries that appear casual yet are deeply considered. The arms conduct current directly to the integrated LED sources, enhanced by a refined paper diffuser made from a blend of cellulose and synthetic fibres, which produces a warm, enveloping and visually soft light. The design is finished in matt black, lending a timeless elegance to the entire composition.

Dix Bougies by Luceplan is designed for indoor environments where lighting becomes the centrepiece of the space. It is an ideal choice for the living room as well as contract settings such as restaurants, hotels and exhibition spaces, where the lamp's dramatic presence engages in dialogue with the surrounding architecture. The direct/indirect light emission ensures a balanced distribution of light throughout the environment. A colour temperature of 2700 K delivers warm white light, while a CRI 90 colour rendering index guarantees faithful and natural colour reproduction. The lamp incorporates a DALI and Push dimming system for precise and flexible control of light intensity. Input voltage ranges from 220–240 V, with a driver included and an IP20 protection rating for indoor use only. The overall width is 1930 mm, the diffuser measures 150x23 mm, and the maximum installation height reaches 5000 mm, with the canopy included.
