Luceplan Ascent led table lamp

Luceplan Ascent is an intimate and conceptual LED table lamp designed by Daniel Rybakken in 2013. Its minimal structure consists of a slender stem in anodized extruded aluminum and a black steel base, paired with a bell-shaped diffuser that slides freely along the rod — from bottom to top and back again. This continuous movement is more than functional: it is the very gesture that defines the lamp's identity, turning light adjustment into an elegant and tactile experience.

Ascent adapts naturally to both residential and professional settings, making it an ideal choice for tables, desks, shelves and bookcases, whether in the living room, the office, or the bedroom. The light source is an integrated 11 W LED with a colour temperature of 2700 K (warm white) and a CRI 90 colour rendering index, ensuring faithful and enveloping colour reproduction. The luminous flux of 422 lm delivers a refined, atmospheric ambient light. The lamp is fully dimmable via an on-board system: circuits integrated into the stem transmit inputs to a microprocessor that interprets the lamp's state change and precisely adjusts the light levels. The universal voltage range of 100–240 V makes it suitable for use worldwide, while insulation class III and IP20 protection certify its safety for indoor use. Ascent is available in two configurations: the version with a square base (17×17×65 cm), or the pin-mount version (Ø 8.5×65 cm), which allows direct attachment to any surface for a cleaner, more minimal result.
