Louis Poulsen "The Water Pump" PH 3/2 Limited Edition 2019 is a floor lamp of extraordinary historical and collectible value, born from the vision of the renowned Danish designer Poul Henningsen. Introduced in the 1950s and named "The Water Pump" after its distinctive articulated arm that allows the light to be directed up or down, this 2019 Limited Edition celebrates Henningsen's legacy with shades in three-layer mouth-blown amber-colored glass, polished on the outside and sandblasted on the inside, paired with a structure in untreated brushed brass.

The Water Pump PH 3/2 is the ideal lamp to bring character and warmth to a living room, a bedroom or a office. The three-reflector screen system, developed by Henningsen as early as 1926, is designed to reduce glare and distribute a soft and enveloping light, directed primarily downward. The amber tone of the glass, combined with the glossy outer surface and the satin sandblasted lower section, creates a warm, inviting illumination that transforms any corner into a sophisticated yet welcoming space. Even when switched off, the sculptural silhouette of the Water Pump continues to interact with its surroundings, reflecting ambient light across its surfaces.

The brushed brass rocker switch, positioned at the end of the arm, is a direct homage to Henningsen's 1927 table lamps; his initials "PH" are engraved beneath it, underscoring the authenticity of this piece. The fixing plate, stem and arm are entirely crafted from untreated brushed brass: over time the surface may develop a natural patina, further enriching the lamp's authentic character — a process that may already be underway upon delivery.

The lamp is compatible with a LED or halogen light source up to 40 W, E26/E27 base (bulb not included), with a universal input voltage of 100-240 V, compatible with EU, AUD, USA, UK and JAP standards.
