Louis Poulsen PH 4½-3 Wall Lamp Outdoor Copper is an iconic outdoor wall lamp designed by the legendary Poul Henningsen for Louis Poulsen. Introduced in 1966 as a hybrid model within the celebrated PH series, this wall luminaire features three reflective screens in pulled copper that direct most of the light downwards, ensuring a diffused and comfortable light distribution free from glare. The upper screen measures approximately 450 mm in diameter, while the lower screens follow the proportions of the 3/3 model, giving the lamp its distinctive hybrid silhouette. The interior of the screens is white-painted to optimise light diffusion, while the wall box and arm are also crafted in copper — a material that naturally develops a grey-green patina over time, making each piece uniquely individual.

Ideal for enhancing prestigious outdoor settings — such as terraces, exterior entrances, gardens or architectural facades — the PH 4½-3 Wall Lamp combines timeless aesthetics with weather resistance through its IP23 protection rating. The copper surface is left untreated, meaning the oxidation process may begin during transport or storage, producing an uneven surface finish before the final patina is achieved: an authentic characteristic of this noble material. The lamp is compatible with an E26/E27 light source up to 100 W and operates on a universal voltage of 100–240 V, making it suitable for the main international electrical standards (EU, USA, UK, AUD, JAP). Insulation class I ensures full electrical safety. The mounting system includes a 1x3x2.5 mm² terminal block with multiple cable entries — 2x bottom and 2x rear for 10–14.5 mm cables — and supports looping connections up to a maximum of 3x1.5 mm². Overall dimensions are 450 mm in width, 290 mm in height and 505 mm in length, with a weight of 6.8 kg. Upon request, the wall box can be supplied without cable holes.
