Louis Poulsen PH Snowball Led suspension lamp

Louis Poulsen PH Snowball LED is an iconic suspension lamp designed by Poul Henningsen in 1958, exhibited at the Danish Museum of Decorative Arts alongside the renowned PH5, and later redesigned and reintroduced to the market in 1983. The structure features drawn aluminium shades paired with a polished chrome die-cast aluminium frame and body, finished with a liquid-painted white coating on the matt lower surfaces and a glossy upper section that gives the lamp its unmistakable visual identity.

The lighting concept of the PH Snowball is built around comfortable, glare-free diffused light: the matt lower surfaces and the glossy upper part create an attractive reflection of scattered light that distributes illumination evenly around the fitting, lighting up the upper canopy while the lower part remains in shadow. This sophisticated light distribution makes it an ideal choice for the living room or the bedroom, where an elegant and refined atmosphere is desired. The LED version features an integrated 41 W LED source with dimmable technology, compatible with EU, AUS, USA, UK and Japanese voltages thanks to the universal 100-240 V input. The included canopy houses the integrated driver, and the supply cable measures 4000 mm in length. The PH Snowball is available in several configurations: a standard LED version at 3000K DALI, and three Dim to Warm versions with colour temperature ranging from 3000 K to 1800 K, available with DALI, phase cut or Bluetooth dimming systems respectively. Dimensions are Ø 400 × 390 mm, with a maximum weight of 3 kg, IP20 degree of protection and insulation class I.
