PH Artichoke 150th Anniversary Edition, 2024 limited edition suspension lamps. Available in two sizes, matt white/pale rose finish.
Read more ...PH Artichoke was originally designed in 1958 by Poul Henningsen for the Langelinie Pavillonen restaurant in Copenhagen, where it still hangs today. Today the PH Artichoke is a design icon around the world. The arrangement of the rows of six leaves each obscures the view of the bulb in the center of the lamp. It is assembled entirely by hand, with each of the 72 leaves carefully checked and mounted on the internal frame. The leaves are laser cut to ensure the perfect size and fit.
All PH Artichoke 150th Anniversary special editions will be engraved on the white side of one of the leaves and will have an individual number from 1 to 300. The numbers will be distributed randomly and cannot be specified. The package will also contain a certificate with the individual number engraved by hand.
For every purchase of the PH Artichoke the new Louis Poulsen book, First House of Light will also be given away. The book will be published by Phaidon in July 2024.
