Louis Poulsen PH 3/2 Aged Brass

Louis Poulsen PH 3/2 Aged Brass is an iconic table lamp by Danish brand Louis Poulsen, originally designed in 1927 by Poul Henningsen as an extension of the PH collection. This "hybrid" version adopts Henningsen's celebrated three-shade system, combining a top shade of approximately 30 cm with proportionally smaller lower shades derived from the PH 2/2. The defining materials are triple-layered mouth-blown opal glass and lacquered aged brass, striking a refined balance between artisanal craftsmanship and design precision.

Conceived to enhance any living space with atmospheric and enveloping light, the PH 3/2 Aged Brass stands out for the quality of its light distribution: the top shade in aged brass, with a white-painted inner surface, directs light downward while eliminating direct glare, while the middle and lower shades in opal glass — glossy on the outside and sandblasted matte on the inside — ensure soft, even diffusion. The result is a focused yet enveloping light source, perfectly suited to a living room or bedroom setting. The stem, also crafted in aged brass with fine lines, is lacquered to preserve its distinctive finish over time. The lamp features an E14 lampholder with a maximum power of 40W, compatible with LED sources, and a convenient on/off switch integrated into the stem. The black fabric cord with plug measures 2.5 metres in length. Insulation class II and protection degree IP20 confirm its suitability for indoor use.
