Louis Poulsen PH 3/2 Aged Brass

In 1927, designer Poul Henningsen introduced the PH 3/2 lamp as an addition to the existing collection, allowing for an unparalleled enhancement in lighting quality. This new version is a "hybrid" lamp featuring a top shade of approximately 30 cm combined with smaller lower shades proportionally taken from the PH 2/2. The PH 3/2 was designed primarily to provide ambient lighting, creating a focused point of light on any surface.

The PH 3/2 Aged Brass table lamp is based on Henningsen’s three-shade system and is distinguished by a top shade in brushed brass with a white-painted inner side, offering downward, glare-free illumination. The middle and lower shades are made of hand-blown, triple-layered opal glass, glossy on the outside and sandblasted matte on the inside, to ensure a softer, more even light distribution. The stem is also made of brushed brass with fine lines and is lacquered to preserve the finish.

Please note that the brushed brass has been lacquered to ensure its finish remains unchanged over time. The serial number is located on the base of the lamp.
