Louis Poulsen Patera is an extraordinary suspension lamp designed by Øivind Slaatto for the iconic Danish brand Louis Poulsen. A true mathematical work of art, the Patera is composed of a series of diamond-shaped cells, each precisely formed by right angles, creating an intriguing interplay of light and shadow. The shade is crafted from precisely cut satin PVC sheet, while the suspension is made of satin chromed aluminium and die-cast acrylic, resulting in a refined white finish with unmistakable artisanal character. Each piece is hand-assembled by specialist personnel, ensuring consistently high manufacturing quality.

The Patera E27 is available in four diameters — Ø300, Ø450, Ø600 and Ø900 mm — each paired with a different maximum wattage: 40W (with a bulb diameter of max Ø52mm), 60W, 100W and 100W respectively. The lamp's structure ensures glare-free light above 45 degrees, distributing light both downward and upward simultaneously, illuminating the ceiling and enhancing the atmosphere of the surrounding space. The lampholder is of the E26/E27 type and the LED light source is not included. The power cord is 4000 mm long and adjustable, and a ceiling canopy is included in the supply. The lamp is compatible with voltages from 100–240V for use in the EU, USA, Australia, UK and Japan, with a degree of protection of IP20 and insulation class II.
