Louis Poulsen Patera Oval suspension lamp

Concept and history: The Patera Oval suspension lamp follows the same principles as the circular Patera collection, designed for Louis Poulsen by designer Øivind Slaatto. The oval shape gives a new minimalist shape to the suspension, always taking as a reference and inspiration from the compelling mathematical structure of Fibonacci. Contemporaneity and technique: this structure gives a different impression of the lamp from every angle by bringing soft and dynamic light into the space. Diamond-shaped cells make up the ellipsoidal Patera: each line of this lamp is carefully studied to avoid glare when viewed from an angle greater than 40 degrees; at 360 degrees, however, Patera emits a natural light that embraces every indoor area. Free transitions between reflected and direct light to emphasize Patera Oval and any interior with a Nordic, clean, modern design.

Suspension that can be used with or without a diffusion plate - included - to create or not a reflected light emission effect.
