Louis Poulsen Moser is a suspension lamp in opal blown glass, designed in 2002 by Swedish ceramic artist Anu Moser, who drew inspiration from the shapes that light takes during the process of blowing molten glass. The result is a remarkably honest design in which every component is visible except the light source itself: the distinctive closed drop shape of the diffuser completely shields the bulb, ensuring a diffused light emission and a soft, enveloping atmosphere. The structure is crafted in white aluminium, while the opal blown glass diffuser, thanks to its carefully considered thickness, delivers an exceptionally comfortable light distribution.
The Louis Poulsen Moser is ideally suited to contemporary domestic interiors, from the living room to the bedroom, where the quality of the light and the formal purity of the diffuser become decorative elements in their own right. The lamp is available in three sizes — diameter 85 mm, 205 mm and 250 mm — to suit different spaces and ceiling heights. The E26-E27 lampholder is compatible with LED or halogen sources up to 40 W (bulb not included); the 250 mm diameter version requires a 60 W bulb with an E26-E27 screw fitting. The suspension cord measures 3000 mm in length, the ceiling rose is included, and the lamp carries an IP20 rating with insulation class II, compatible with EU, USA, UK, Australian and Japanese voltage standards.
