Louis Poulsen Moonsetter Rotating Floor Lamp

The Moonsetter lamp designed by the architect and designer Anne Boysen was the winning project of the Next Danish Design Classic competition. Her design is based on geometric shapes that blend the circle, square and cylinder into an artistic and unique configuration. The sculptural aesthetic of the floor lamp is at the center of any environment, almost like a work of art. Its 360° rotating disc with a different finish on each side, allows to decide how to reflect the light in the room and exactly how the environment should reflect on the mirror surface of the lamp. The high-impact dimension of Moonsetter naturally attracts attention and creates a room within the room itself, which can take shape through reflections and light. The lamps are numbered in editions of 100 pieces and will be engraved with the edition number and a sequential number from 1 to 100.

Concept - Sculptural floor lamp in chromed aluminum, equipped with a rotating disc that allows you to customize the reflection of the glare-free light, emitted by the LED light source elegantly hidden in the frame. The disc rotates 360° around its axis and is white on one side and reflective on the other. Oriented towards the white side, the light becomes soft and diffused, while the opposite chrome side directly reflects the light panel to create a different expression. The light is directed according to the position of the disc. It offers stepless adjustment and turns on and off with the rotary foot switch positioned on the cylinder.

Materials - Frame: solid die-cast aluminum with polished chrome finish. Cylinder and switch: bright chromed extruded aluminum. Disc: solid die-cast aluminum. Polished chrome on one side and liquid painted white on the opposite side. Opal silicone diffuser.

Mounting - Cable type: black PVC cable. Cable length: 2.5m. LED adapter: separate, to be connected to the power socket. On/off: rotary switch on the cylinder with continuous adjustment.

Dimensions and weights - Structure 600 x 600 mm. Internal disc Ø510 mm. Foot switch Ø80 mm. Max weight 20.5 Kg.

Class: IP20 protection degree. Insulation class II ungrounded.
