Louis Poulsen Keglen 400 Conical Suspension LED Lamp

Louis Poulsen Keglen 400 is a conical LED suspension lamp born from the collaboration between the Danish brand Louis Poulsen and designer Jakob Lange of the BIG Ideas studio, founded by Bjarke Ingels. The project sets out to establish a systematic design language: a family of lamps in different sizes sharing the same formal qualities and design details, yet each with its own distinctive personality. The truncated conical shade is crafted from spun aluminium, with a white interior that ensures optimal reflection, and incorporates an injection-moulded PC diffuser with a curved opal insert that delivers an elegant, glare-free downward light. A discreet, uniform opening at the top of the shade also emits a soft upward glow, contributing to a carefully balanced and refined atmosphere.

With a diameter of 400 mm and a height of 270 mm, the Keglen 400 lends itself naturally to expansive settings such as restaurants, hotels and representative spaces, as well as to the residential living room, where it becomes a furnishing element capable of defining the entire composition. The 21 W integrated LED source, available in a colour temperature of 2700K or 3000K, provides warm, high-quality illumination, while compatibility with the DALI system allows precise dimming control, alongside standard phase-cut and phase-control mains dimmers. The degree of protection is IP20 and the insulation class is Class I. The lamp is suspended via a 4000 mm cable (2 x 0.75 mm²), with canopy included. It is available in white with a white woven cable and black with a black woven cable, ensuring a coherent fit with any aesthetic context.
