Louis Poulsen Keglen 250 Conical Suspension LED Lamp

Louis Poulsen Keglen 250 is a conical LED suspension lamp born from the artistic and technical collaboration between the Danish brand Louis Poulsen and designer Jakob Lange of the BIG Ideas studio — the team founded by Bjarke Ingels. The project was conceived with the ambition of establishing a systematic design language: a family of lamps in different sizes, united by the same formal and constructive qualities, yet each with its own distinct personality. The 250 mm diameter version stands out for its truncated conical shape in pulled aluminum, completed by an injection-moulded polycarbonate diffuser with a curved opal insert that ensures elegant, glare-free light diffusion.

Thanks to its compact dimensions and the quality of its light output, the Keglen 250 suits a wide range of residential and contract settings, and is especially at home in the living room, where it can be installed individually or arranged in multiple compositions to create intimate and refined atmospheres. A discreet opening at the top of the shade emits a soft upward glow, while the main distribution is directed downward, with the white interior ensuring optimal reflection. The lamp integrates an 8 W LED light source, available in 2700K or 3000K colour temperature, powered at 220–240 V through an included driver. The dimming system is compatible with the DALI protocol as well as phase control and phase cut mains dimmers — please note that low power consumption may affect dimming properties. Protection is rated IP20, suitable for indoor use, with insulation class I. Installation is via cable and wire (2 × 0.75 mm²), with a cord length of 4000 mm and a canopy included. Overall dimensions are 250 mm in diameter by 270 mm in height, with a maximum weight of 1.6 kg. The lamp is available in white with a white woven cable and black with a black woven cable.
