Louis Poulsen Keglen 175 Conical Suspension LED Lamp

The artistic and technical collaboration between Louis Poulsen and the designer Jakob Lange (of the BIG Ideas studio), led to the creation of Keglen, a lamp with the aim of creating a systematic design language. Bjarke Ingels, Jakob Lange and the BIG team wanted to create a series of lamps of different sizes with the same qualities and design details, but each with its own personality. The group of architects and designers believes that the larger suspensions are perfect in any type of restaurant or accommodation facility, while the smaller ones diffuse a more intimate light alone or in particular compositions (see Product Family for the complete collection).

Concept - The distinctive truncated conical screens of the suspensions each have a curved opal insert and diffuse an elegant, glare-free downward light. Each version of the screen has its own diffusion of light, while the white internal part guarantees its perfect reflection. A discreet and uniform opening at the top of the screens emits a soft light and creates the perfect atmosphere.
